Piezoigniter replacement kits for BBQ
1.1 Igniter module and electrode replacement
2. 1 replacement piezo button
Before proceeding with your igniter replacement. Ensure the castors are locked and the shroud is down. Remove the button and battery from the module set in your BBQ.
Using a flat head screwdriver, carefully press agaginst one of the igniter module's side tabs to release it from it's locked position and push the module away from you to remove it from the BBQ. Being careful not to scrath the fascia surface.
remove the wires from th eold module and attach them to the replacement unit.
push the module through the hole from the reverse. keep the module at a slight angle until you hear and see the right side tab snap into place, the pivot the module into position till you hear and see the left side tab click into place.
Reconect the igniter wires to the modules if not already attached and then install the battery into the ignition assembly.
Once installed please test the module. Depress the button and listen for the audible "click". Next view the electrode on the end f the module and depress the button again, astrong blue spark should appear. If the spark is not present replace the battery and check the fitting.
Remove the black wire from the BBQ and pull the attached frame and electrode through the hole in the BBQ.
Install the replacement electrode by following the above removal instructions in reverse.
